Ismael García-Colón obtained his B.A., Magna Cum Laude, in Anthropology from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. He received his Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Connecticut in 2002. From 1999 to 2003, García-Colón worked as an archivist at the Library and Archives Unit at Centro. He had the opportunity to conduct a project documenting the history of Latinos in the New York City labor movement.


Raquel Z. Rivera was a Researcher at the Center for Puerto Rican Studies. She has a Ph.D. in Sociology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and an M.A. in Puerto Rican Studies from the Centro de Estudios Avanzados de Puerto Rico y el Caribe, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Anthony De Jesús Anthony (Tony) De Jesús a Researcher in Education Policy since 2003 became Interim Director of Centro on March 1, 2005, when Félix Matos Rodríguez took a leave of absence to work as a special advisor to Governor Anibal Acevedo Vila of Puerto Rico.
