This excellently produced documentary captures the trailblazing career of Puerto Rican educator and activist, Antonia Pantoja, who founded the educational organization, ASPIRA, and helped to establish other similiar organizations throughout the nation. So prolific and notable was her work on behalf of the Puerto Rican community that in 1996 she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bill Clinton.
