Nancy I. Bird-Soto

Nancy Bird-Soto is associate professor of Spanish at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she teaches Latin American and U.S. Latino literature. Her most recent academic book is the critical edition: Los hipócritas de Franca de Armiño (Editorial Tiempo Nuevo, 2013). In 2014, she published her memoir: Put Together: A Minne-Memoir  (Editorial Trance). Her research interests include: Puerto Rican/ Latin American/ US Hispanic women writers, feminism, transnationalism, and working class literature.
