Bernice Sosa

BERNICE SOSA is a second generation Nuyorican writer/poet, teacher, and interpreter/ translator who resides in New Jersey.  Born in NYC and raised in East New York, Brooklyn Sosa has been writing since the age of 8 and is currently working on her first book.  She has several works published online in e-zines such as: Pa’lante Latino, Alexandra Roman’s Mink and Centro de Estudios Puertorriqueños of Hunter College. Sosa has had the honor of sharing her work on the stages of: Capicu Cultural & Poetry Showcase in Brooklyn; the Nuyorican Poet’s Café in NYC; (the former) La Loba Poetry Series in NYC and Babble in the Bronx Series in New York.
